I express the natural and unnatural beauty of the world through my use of color. The interaction of color and emotion is the thread running through all my work. I aim to shock, intrigue, or even jolt the viewer to a higher level of introspection. Landscapes real and imagined, including the landscapes of faces, fascinate me. I use water mixable oils and sometimes heavy body acrylics on cotton and linen canvases in figurative, representational and abstract imagery. A portion of the profits from the sale of my art will be donated to organizations dedicated to addressing the climate crisis.
