Artist’s Statement
The beauty of the world, from the mundane to the extraordinary, can be demonstrated through color, shape and form. My goal is to shock, intrigue, jolt or amuse the viewer. There are always surprises in my paintings that take time to discover. I paint with water mixable oils and sometimes heavy body acrylics on cotton and linen canvases in figurative, representational and abstract imagery.
